As far as local DMV schools go:
#6 - SR
14 - SSSAS
15 - Visi
23 - GC

It was 14-8 hardly smoked. Was 10-8 with the starters before both teams did some major subbing. SPSG is deeper and it showed when subs went in but was close with starters.
How has your school been doing? Focus so much on GC, must not be going well. At least GC is playing tough games.
Ha ha ha. Chip meet shoulder.

SSSAS is always very well coached. SR is good but also lost some good players to graduation. It sounds like GC has a bunch of recruits. Should be an interesting year.
One thing here is not like the others. GC isn’t part of this crowd and doesn’t belong in the discussion of DMV girls teams.
Get over yourself and your hatred of GC. They do belong and just because you hate them does not mean they don't belong. WCAC is in the DMV and right now they are the best in the WCAC after being undefeated in the WCAC last year. They were ranked #18 nationally.
Sorry your daughter didn't get in or didn't get recruited by them the way you like or whatever it is. But clearly you have never gotten over it because you feel the need to comment every single time they are mention. Sad and pathetic really.

Does GC ever not admit anyone? Doubtful but who TF cares? No one normal wants to go there. It’s crappy, low rent, and in the middle of nowhere. Not in the DMV.

Some split their rosters up for playing time purposes as the goal is to get better not win (News flash, St James doesn't give trophies...). No one is practicing either, so I wouldn't put stock into any one week result. Now I do think that some of the top teams in indoor will be the top this Spring (looking at you SR) based on their overall talent pool, but I don't think you can compare them apples to apples w/ indoor results given the reasons above and also style of play (no draws - hurts a team like SJC with strong middies).
The SR v. visi game was quite close yesterday too, so it could be interesting spring.
Visi played well. Immediately before the game, SR beat Saints 13-8 so likely a bit tired. Visi has a good first 8-9 girls. Their challenge will be full field and playing against teams with more depth.
