When people make the comparison to how the media covered Biden, they are missing one sort of hidden difference: there were Democrats whispering to reporters about their concerns, which then became on the record calls for him to get out of the race after the debate. They can't really do much if it's just members of the opposition talking about it, at least until Trump starts ripping off his clothes or talking to invisible people in the middle of a press conference.

Unfortunately none of us can predict how his dementia progresses. His demented father spent years and years "going to the office" and being catered to by his employees and relatives who pretended he was still functional. History seems to be repeating itself, except that now this Trump has the nuclear button.

It's bad. The blood clot needs to win. We can't wait for the end-stage dementia.
