The three are just discovery players for the rest of this season. One plays 11s.

That is the good thing, and cheering for them. But I am sure, the best ones left a while ago, given the GA issues from 2023.
Someboy's feelings are going to be hurt.
You are kidding yourself if you think that ASA GA team will compete. Only the 2012 might have a chance, but their best players migrated.
What about 2011s? They’re a solid age group across the board. If they were smart, they’d heavily recruit Arlington’s 2nd 2011 and maybe even some from their 3rd 2011 team. All it takes are a couple to commit and the rest will follow. Arlington 2011 Red can hang with most ECNL teams.
Except no one wants to go to ASA. lol

Is it poaching if that person has shown interest and was asked to let them know once GA is awarded? Big difference. Alot of people are not happy with current situation and are free to seek out other opportunities. Problem with these clubs is they feel they own the player.
What is poaching?
Poaching is a very very funny idea in the context of youth soccer. The arrogance and ignorance for any club or parent from a club to act as though you have any claim on my child is mental. These children are not paid employees on a contract...WE PAY FOR THIS. And at a minimum, each year we are free to pay for the next company (club) to roster our kid. Is it poaching when Popeyes tries to convince me their chicken sandwich is better than Chick fil A?
I am happy that other clubs are interested in my child...give me more options. You guys are total fanboys and these clubs are using you like rented mules to create cult followings. Poaching...how pathetic.
And this is exactly why the US model has its shortcomings. You pay, so you exercise this freedom of movement whenever you get a wild hair up it, so there is no real incentive to develop from clubs. Why would they when the hard work would never be rewarded in the end.
