Sigh... Tampa Bay pp here. We do have seasons, I own a winter coat, hat and gloves ( they do get used) and my house has a heat pump. Fall is a disappointment for this native new Englander but the winter makes me happy - I don't miss ice and snow at ALL. I'm heading to the NE this Christmas and will get my fill of it.

I'm just questioning your judgment that's all. Florida for beaches, sure. Florida for hot muggy flat nothingness? Nah.

Central Florida has several gorgeous natural springs, like Weikeva and Ginnie Spring and Blue Springs and Kelly Creek Rock springs. There is also some nice lakes, and Clermont is hilly with nice views. I don't live in central Florida, but it's not actually flat nothing.
