That works for local beaches. If I’m in and out of the water in Caribbean, then I need to reapply. Neutrogena makes a face mist (it’s not the spray can that was recalled).
I am also extremely fair (with red hair and freckles), and I follow a similar routine.
1. Cleanser
2. Toner (Lotion P50 or YTTP Kombucha)
3. Serums
4. Moisturizer with SPF
5. Sunscreen (obviously with SPF)
6. Foundation with SPF
I tend to shun the sun as much as possible, but when that's not possible, I reapply SPF if I'm outside for long by using a tinted sunscreen (I like CeraVe's tinted sunscreen) and then using a light powder over it to take away some of the sheen.
At the beach, I don't wear makeup at all, which makes it easy to reapply sunscreen. I also wear a wide-brimmed hat, long-sleeved sun shirt, and sit under a Shabumi for shade. As I said, I tend to shun the sun.
