She wasn't even a serious competitor in the democratic primary. Honestly her credentials are pretty light and the ones she has are problematic IMO but she was selected because of her demographics and the fact that she is pretty/photogenic. Americans are pretty shallow when it comes to voting for politicians.
She’s photogenic but not pretty irl.
It’s shocking how short and stumpy she and klobuchar are.
If she was as dark as Stacey Abrams, she’d never be where she is.
Weird post.
I've never seen her in real life but the bolded is 100% true unfortunately. I hope as a country we can get past the racism and colorism that plagues us. I would have liked to see more from Val Demings as a VP candidate but I figured it wouldn't happen this time around for just that reason.
Val demmings would’ve been an amazing vp choice.
She’s a lot more relatable to purple states…..I would have no issues scheduling her to come to PA IMO if I was running a campaign for a pa statewide candidate as it is.
If she was latte toned like Susan rice, she’d rocket straight to the top even faster.
Val demings is “normal” in a way kH isn’t.

Publicly endorsing socialism the day before the election might be a start.
"Socialism" like medicare and interstate highways?
