DNF at some point midway I forgot to start reading it the next day. Moved it all over house and eventually to LFL.

Oh and at first, it also quite reminded me of the robot/clone sequence in “Cloud Atlas,” though not as good.

Very excited to learn there is a planned film, I hadn't heard that before seeing this thread.
To that I'd say why do it at all then? Or at least to the extent that he did in this book.
