Kids of Millennials are screwed, just like millennials are. I get they they want to lash out.
I’m GenX and agree with this.
However, the 2009 financial crisis hit Gen X hard at a time that impacted their wealth development. They will never amass as much as the boomers did based on the timing of this. It delayed many from acquiring a home to build equity and build portfolio gains. While they themselves benefitted from lower college tuition, they are paying hundreds of thousands to send their adult children to college. The boomers are completely clueless about all this. Millennials have it the worst but IMO GenX is aware of this.
Also, Trump would have never won in 2016 without the massive boomer vote. Boomers welcomed the monster that is destroying our economy and democracy. It will take future generations decades to undo the damage.
Who exactly are you talking about? Get your whiny facts straight.
Trump 2024
“ Gen X — which slightly favored president-elect Donald Trump with a one-point margin in 2020 — shifted 9 points toward Trump this cycle. Gen Z favored Vice President Kamala Harris by 11 points, compared to 24 points for President Joe Biden.
Meanwhile, millennials and their boomer parents were less likely to move toward Trump. Millennials favored Harris by one point, a five-point shift down from Biden's six-point margin in 2020. Boomers went from supporting Trump by five points in 2020 to a flat tie between the two candidates this year, and were the only age group that voted more Democratic.“
GenX women went for Trump bigger than any other generation.

Anonymous wrote:My cousin is what I call elder Gen X. The whole "I had it tough so you can do it and I'm so sick of millenial parents and gentle parenting". HEr kids can't stand her, two of her young adult kids are failure to launch, and she can't do anything for herself. Just venting. I'm so sick of this group of genxers who think they have endured so much so everyone else will be fine. meanwhile they all have undiagnosed mental health issues and have horrible relationships with their kids. ugh.

Plus, probably wise for people whose kids aren’t yet young adults to hold fire abt how people’s young adult kids are shaping up.
frankly a ton of genxers did a shitty job as parents be ause they didn't learn from theirs.or they are really involved. no middel ground. but a lot of millenials and gen zers don't want to repeat the crappy parenting from gen xers.

Why don't you call your boomer parents and complain?
