The irony is that in the long-term this bigotry creates more Zionists. Lean into community, have frank discussions with your kids about these and other dark times in Jewish/American history, bear witness and hold the bigots accountable, that’s all you can do, really.

I have nothing but love for Jewish people. The idea that being Jewish has to mean support Israel is a very modern concept. Zionism is what, 150 years old? Judaism is thousands. There is NO reason one must support Israel in order to support the safety and freedom of Jews.
