Mine too. But FYI no one is going to believe you. Good thing I do not care.

My husband is so happy, I don’t care if anyone else believes me

This is an interesting thread for me as my cardiologist just prescribed Zepbound for me. I am starting next week. I have a history of heart related issues and I am 51, male.

I'm looking forward to seeing the benefits both from a weight loss standpoint, but also the other benefits as well. I have realized that I can't drink any longer and have made that commitment. If it helps with that, great!

Also, I know that I snore and if I get any benefit there as well, great!

There are sooo many benefits. Im much more calm. My sleep is improved. I have a lot less brain fog. My ankles and fingers/wrist dont swell and dont hurt anymore in the morning. My period is less annoying. My pre-period migraine doesnt happen anymore. I had to get off of it while I was pregnant but before I got pregnant my cholesterol (family genetic issues) dropped to sub 200 and my triglycerides were <40. My BP has always been good but its 100/70 average now.

My husband has an autoimmune condition plus high blood pressure- partly genetic partly due to the medication he takes for his autoimmune condition- and I want him to ask his PCP about trialing it to see if it helps his BP. His mom has dementia onset <60 due to uncontrolled BP, thyroidectomy without proper supplementation, and generally poor health plus at least one stroke prior to 55. They are now calling dementia a disease of middle age. It comes from middle age health issues and manifests in later years.

There was a great Ezra Klein podcast on this a few weeks ago. GLP1 research is showing that even without weight loss they can reduce cardiac risk and alzheimer's and dementia.
