I always switch to the liquid diet 24 hours earlier than the MD says. For me, that made the prep period less uncomfortable.

I used Clenpiq and thought it was easy (relatively). You have to drink very little of it, like just a 4 ounce bottle. When DH had his he did the regular prep with the huge jug and he had a much more unpleasant experience.

Has anyone mentioned toilet paper? You totally want to have some of that on hand.

OP it wasn't a big deal. Just follow whatever the instructions are and it will be over before you know it. In between prep, drinking broth is a good way to get calories and some protein without sugar. Stick close by bathroom the night before and leading up to it. Get a morning appointment if you can, so you can get back to normal quickly. GL!

Coconut water is nasty. They make Gatorade no sugar. It's called Zero.

I also hate the taste of coconut water, but am fine with Gatorade, but even I had to cut the Gatorade with water. 50/50. I also don't tolerate any type of sugar substitute, so Gatorade Zero wasn't an option.

I think it all boils down to having something that you can tolerate taste-wise but also provides electrolytes so that you don't dehydrate.

If you have kids, just check yourself into a hotel by the hospital the day before.

Why if you have kids?? DH did this but I don't think it will be necessary for me. We have teenagers?
