Being that the private sector benefits from the spending, maybe all the government contractors singing “ka-Ching!” should be the ones treating the servicemen and women to a fine dinner. I’m all for rewarding them, but there are very wealthy contractors who can pony up some gift money.

Meanwhile at my agency, the furniture is from the 70s and any party we have is a potluck. Not to mention the cockroach and rat problem.
Deployed troops cannot do “potluck.”
I despise people like Mike.
It's a long-standing tradition that dining facilities around the force try to offer a surf and turf night occasionally, especially for troops who are deployed.
It's not Red Lobster quality by any means. But it's a small thing that makes many smile for a few minutes when they're separated from family for months in parts of the world that pathetic cowards like @rothschildmd wouldn't dare go.
Guys like him are fine with endless troop rotations so American can be the global police, so long as they're eating field rations the entire time.
Don't be like Mike. He's an American not worth fighting for.

The bots on Twitter are repeating over and over that it was for the troops steak and seafood meal on the eve of the Iran attack. These purchases were made in September of 2025.

Lobster is often served to enlisted servicemembers. So much so that its appearance on the menu at a military dining facility has become a meme.

That kind of spending suggests a WWIII level deployment. I think the more logical take is that Hegseth and his buddies are binging luxury meals on taxpayer dime just like the little ghetto welfare queens they are.

Now you are complaining about crabs legs.
Sorry, you can't be taken seriously.
