Cariamas didn’t work for me. I just gave away a pair of Salvas. They were very cute — but I was shocked that they had so little arch support. I bought them on sale, so I couldn’t return them. Now I’m looking into trying out some ONs.

New balance 204L, swap in the satin laces or add a different color set.

I think Cariuma may be going out of business? Their website hasn’t worked the past few times I’ve tried to access it (a message pops up that they arent accepting new orders and are trying to service existing customers).

Noooo! I love my Cariumas! I have a white canvas pair that is so perfect. Very sad to hear they may no longer be available.

I always pick Vans

Converse are so much more comfortable though

OMgosh. I bought the ballet versions right after viewing. Exactly what I was looking for this season for a trip. Thank you PP.

What color did you buy? The red is calling my name.

The red is so cute. I ended up clicking on the egret. For travel, I wear a lot of neutrals.

I have Back 70’s similar to these (not satin) and I think they’re the perfect balance. I wear them on long walks all the time. https://www.anthropologie.com/shop/back-70-cloud-c26-sneakers?color=065

Just wear what works for you. I've been wearing Onitsuka Tigers for 25 years. They went out of style for some of that, but I've continued to wear them and look, now they're back! They've doubled in price in that time, sadly.

Nike has been running small and narrow recently, it's killing a lot of their shoes for me. I like the look online but then I put them on and they go right back. When I size up, they are too big. Mystery.

I got these without trying on (they were $30) and they are shockingly uncomfortable. Very narrow. Just FYI.

PS they are cute though! I have better memories of Pumas.
