These aren’t specifics, they’re just vague overarching goals, pro-democracy and clean water, really ? The purpose of the thread is to appeal to Rs to switch their midterm vote. But this not compelling at all.

The Republicans are literally anti-democracy and anti-clean water.

They are trying to pass a law to make it harder to vote as we speak.

They have torn up the constitution in pieces, creating a “unitary executive” theory that gives the president kinglike power.

They’ve rolled back clean air and water regulations as we speak.
