The UK has an evidentiary problem with charging Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor with sex crimes, because his known conduct at this time was not illegal in Britain. They aren’t trying to hide anything, they’re charging what they can, and perhaps in the course of the case, they’ll find more chargeable offenses.

What is also happening with his ex wife?

Funny how all the Europeans with ties to Epstein are facing consequences while Americans with closer ties (Trump, commerce secretary Lutnick) continue on with no issues.

They didn’t arrest him for sex crimes. He was trading national secrets to foreign governments for payouts. He was also giving insider information.

But, yes, we need to step up our investigation and arrest those involved with the sex trafficking.

And they never will get him for sex crimes. There are no witnesses coming forward with credible accusations that would withstand a legal challenge. Epstein's emails simply don't have the legal weight you wish they did.

There's a silver lining in getting him for a different crime, in that the victims don't have to testify. Some victims may want their day in court, but I suspect most just want him locked up and not to be exposed to a global media circus.
