A buck rammed my car and almost flipped it over. Another instance a deer jumped over my car. It was on a hill beside the sunken road I was driving along

Both were extremely scary situations

+1. In Long Island, they cull the deer population and donate the venison meat to soup kitchens. Deer chili. It works.

No evidence provided that is the case in Arlington. It's all for the $$$$ for the stupid twigs they plant in wire enclosures after defoliating huge areas in the name of conservation.

It's not just about them starving they'll be hit my cars and also crowd out other populations. So the county feeding them could lead to other serious problems. Even kept curated populations where the deer are essentially livestock have to cull.

It's the humane option to shoot them rather than have them suffer.
