We STILL ended up using 5-6 consecutive snow days. I wouldn’t wish that on anybody. For my own family (my kids are seniors in high school), I’d love a couple snow days this month, but for all the working parents who have to find alternative childcare on snow days, I hope this storm isn’t too disruptive.

DP here. I have teens and hope we are closed too, for as long as possible. But I remember having little ones and feeling differently.
You don’t care about what they’re missing at school? In FCPS we would miss the last few days of the semester when they have to finish their exams.

Looks like it would hit our area in the early afternoon on Saturday and then continue through Sunday. The storm may start causing flight disruptions late Friday night as it develops in Texas.
