Op here. Funny you mention Tessa we've added it to our girl name list.

Others are:

Annie
Etta
June
Cora
Thea

Thanks everyone for the feedback and suggestions. Keep them coming!

OK, OP, now I'm seeing your style, and it's nice! I like all of these except Etta.

Lots of nice combos with the boy names you mentioned. Malcolm and Thea. Carter and Annie. Elias and Tessa. They're all pretty good!

Tessa and Thea are fine. The others are not. I may make an exception for Annie if she has some sort of full name (Annaleise (sp?), Annabel, Julianne, Anastasia, Annika, etc.).

The last thing twins need is confusion over whose name is whose. They already have to share a womb and birthday. At least start them with distinct identities!

+1. B/G twin mom also. Do Not give them gender ambiguous names! These suggestions are terrible.

We did

It's been a non issue

Of course if you live in a more uptight area, plan accordingly

My brother had b/g twins and named them wildly unrelated names. One has a Top 25 very common name and the other is incredibly rare in the US.

It does not matter. The names fit their kids, because kids grow with the name. So my advice is to not worry about them matching and "going together". It's hard to imagine while pregnant, but your kids only spend a small portion of their lives together. The rest they will be an individual out in the world, not a pair of twins. Name them that way .

These are all a bit too unisex too. I think with B/G twins it should be obvious who the male and female are because they're introduced together more than other siblings. Like I love Alex as a name, but I know just as many females named Alex as I do males named Alex.
