sure they do. they let admissions give the bad news and move on.
Losing players at the 11th hour (when the rest of the recruit class is fully committed) makes a coach’s life harder, not easier. A coach has no incentive to do this.

There were lots of changes on boys and girls 2026 class all over the country so it happens every year. The good thing is looks like all the ones I saw Yale to Brown, Harvard to Penn, Penn to UVA got in on ED at the school they switched commitments to based on the schools HS college decision instagram page.
