Honestly I think they are all about the same. I've been in MD and VA and there is no difference.

I must have crappy insurance (BCBS) because it costs me 2x to go to a hospital based practice vs stand alone. I used to go to Sibley but now I go to WRA. I have to do the 6m mamo/MRI combo. I like the Chevy Chase and Parc Potomac locations. They've been fine, although last time there was a long wait for my appointment - the waiting room was packed. usually it's been pretty efficient.

I go to Georgetown because the one time there was a problem it was great to be able to be in their system and get routed directly to a breast cancer surgeon there. I have found most of the radiologists to have pretty good bedside manner. My favorite is Dr Crane. I request her for all biopsies. Fairfax Radiology. It's not close to me at all, but WRA is such a disaster I will drive 1 hour each way to get to Fairfax Radiology just to avoid it.

I also have dense breasts and am on HRT and I’ve never really thought much about attitude etc of the techs.

Those that said that WRA missed their cancer - that can happen anywhere, right?. Some cancers hide on imaging. Unless it was visible, and the radiologist just didn’t see it?

I had some scheduling errors with Washington Radiology and was extremely frustrated. I switched to John Hopkins when my endocrinologist told me that John Hopkins has the best and most updated equipment. They have been great.
