It’s actually real! Pomona is looking to buy the graduate school. Maybe they’re pulling a Wesleyan move?
This is genuinely shocking! I can’t believe Pomona would do such a stupid thing.
Why? What happened to CMC grad school? Current national politics?

But I do like this man's bio. Went to Williams, did a fellowship to Cambridge, and MA & PhD in Philosophy from Northwestern. He was Provost at Williams for many years and then President at William & Lee and now he's President at CMC. He's a DMV kid - raised in Arlington, VA.
Doesn’t sound like a good fit at all. Sounds like he wants to be president of Williams.
+1, made the complete wrong choice. They should’ve poached Joseph Aoun.
