Yale and Harvard Law grad, made some noise on the socials criticizing Trump and his uncle RFK Jr., who he just referred to as a rabid dog on a chain in the White House, one part of Trump’s agenda to destroy the legacy of the Kennedy family in DC and in the minds of Americans.
Trump *does* seem obsessed with hating the Kennedys, probably because they were so loved and a malignant narcissist can’t abide anybody else getting the glory.
I’m excited to see another young Kennedy step into the arena. Of course I grew up in the Commonwealth and most of us admire our Kennedys, or most of them anyway. I was heartbroken when John Jr. died, I think he could have done amazing things in the arena.
Let’s see what his nephew can do. Noblesse oblige.
John-John? What exactly did he do except start a magazine and fail the bar exam a couple of times? Caroline hasn't done anything outside of what her family name gave her as well. In fact what exceptional thing has any Kennedy done that someone who could tap into the same networks and money couldn't have done better? I may be mistaken but why are there no great Kennedy doctors, scientists, or mathematicians? And no, RFKjr doesn't qualify as one.

Anonymous wrote:Why are you “excited” about this? What about this man makes him qualified, OP? No thanks, to more unqualified rich men getting elected into office. This guy lives in a bubble just like Trump. We need real people.

Are you another one who is woefully ignorant of American history???
26 of our presidents were lawyers first.
179 members of the current Congress are lawyers, the most represented profession. Over history consistently many of our Congress members have been lawyers.
Now why would lawyers make sense as the people writing and passing our laws I wonder? It’s a mystery . . .
Take your anti-lawyer BS and put it where the sun doesn’t shine.

Pretty sure this is his public image. He is not a serious person, he's a flake, his family is insane with prime example being RFK Jr. His mom is another story. She ought to run for president.

Caroline Kennedy— attorney, author, diplomat, eduction reformist, philanthropist, and ambassador under Obama’s administration. She is well respected. She’s the only surviving child of US president John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Go Jack!

This.
It’s just not the moment for someone like this. We are done with family dynasties. The Jeb/Hilary matchup was a significant contributor to “outsider” Trump.

You do have a right to like Jack and to support him and his run for this seat. But for the love of all that's good, I just hope you don't post/complain about nepo-babies/white man privilege. What we are seeing with Jack is a prime example of wealth privilege/white man privilege.

OP here.
Are you fully ignorant of American history? Some of the greatest politicians we’ve had, who’ve done the most for regular American people, were nepo babies with silver spoons in their mouths at birth.
Ever heard of Franklin Delano Roosevelt?
ANY American citizen has the right to run for public office, and I’ve got more confidence in a young lawyer who comes from a storied political family responsible for civil rights and voting rights advances as well as being largely responsible for the Affordable Care Act and who has access to great wealth and thus no need to grift like the current occupant of the White House and too many members of Congress have done.
Why don’t you just come right out and say you hate the Kennedys and the agenda they’ve historically stood for, which is mostly about improving the lives of working class and minority Americans.
