The teachers are engaging and academic. If he needs help they give him time in office hours or before/after school. No kids fall through the cracks. The teachers truly care. The students are kind. We have found no bullying. I personally love the block program and the built in clubs periods. He is thriving there! I’d highly recommend Field. Also I have not seen any inflated grades. He works hard for the grades he makes.

Each kid has the same advisor for two years at a time. Their advisor is alerted of missing assignments and is copied on emails sent by the teachers to the student. Students can retake portions of a test or revise essays. The goal is learning and progress - it takes some kids an extra step to get there and they give space for those kids.

Can students routinely revise essays and retake tests for a better grade? Is this something that is always allowed or more of a special circumstances thing?

Yes, it seems to be more routine than rare or exceptional.
