I've also gotten some comfortable underwear at Aerie, which I know is aimed at HS and college girls, but the underwear is soft and comfortable and they have good deals. It doesn't last as long as other brands though.

I've bought underwear from Natori and some other higher end brands and while I do really like it, it's just so expensive. It's hard for me to justify spending $200 on just underwear briefs that I will need to replace in about year anyway. Yes, some pairs might last a bit longer but I've found that no matter how nice they are, after about a year they start to show the wear and you need to start buying new and cycling them out. So I definitely try to shop sales and jump around brands to get better deals.

FYI that you can get Natori at Nordstrom for $13/pair, sometimes cheaper. I found a few colors for $7.

Do you need to size up in the fancy brands like Natori, Hanro and Felina?

Hanro or OnGossamer I buy from Bloomingdale's department store online, 100% cotton bikinis.

Who wants loose underwear???

That’s super weird. It’ll just bunch up and be uncomfortable.

That said, if your underwear is digging into your skin and leaving red marks, you’re buying at least one size too small. I guess this is why stores do vanity sizing — so people like you can find a “magic” brand that fits sooo well and you can still wear a small just like you did 30 pounds ago.

I’ve worn Jockey cotton Elance French cut for years. They hold up well in the washer and dryer and are a little less frumpy than granny panties.

I love these. Very comfortable and look good.

They are not cheap, but these are the only ones I wear. They are soft and seamless, and so comfy!

I go up two sizes OP. Everything is cut much smaller now compared to the comfy underwear I bought years ago.
