It's just tradition and common sense that girls deserve their own private spaces, even if militant trans activists think otherwise. I am sympathetic to FCPS's legal predicament but also expect the better view to prevail.

People like you are exhausting. If you are worried, you can be advocating for private changing places or bathrooms with full doors. Do you have any data to back up your concerns? So you think trans people dont have legitimate issues with biology rules? Them why did VA rule it was discriminatory? And didnt the ruling go beyond VA to the federal level?

The 4th circuit ruled that under VA law which recognizes gender identity as a protected class that transgender people can use facilities appropriate for their identity.

The Department of Efucation is bound by federal law (Title IX) does not recognize gender identity as a protected class, it recognizes biological sex.

Thus the conflict at hand. The SC will need to step in and rule. That will potentially lead to changes to policies in the NOVA school districts and anger proponents on one side or the other.
