Chief security officer not horrible
Chief engagement officer isn’t that different from chief marketing officer
Chief equity officer well honestly I’m always fascinated by how much hate this one gets but whatever
Okay now maybe those salaries could be cut by 50% but i don’t know that. Certainly I’m not crapping myself over them existing they are what they are
Now could the people in those positions do a better job at times I’m quite sure they could but that’s not for me to decide
Why do we need a marketing officer gor a public school system?

DP. Why do we need a Chief Equity Officer, when there is already a Chief Academic Officer? They're just going to push initiatives that will require heavy legal attention as otherwise they'll invite lawsuits.

Please cite examples. I don't think the feds or the state demand positions that pay what FCPS is paying their "leaders."

-Virginia Literacy Act
-VDOE requires extensive monitoring of assessments and student progress
-Title 1 has extensive oversight and requires staffing for compliance
