I turned on one of the local stations in the car the other day, and my 10 year old informed me that Kokomo by The Beach Boys had been on Full House.

It made me smile. Yep, Uncle Jessie and The Beach Boys

+1 my kids loved Who’s the Boss and Growing Pains.

Modern Family
Head of the Class
Benson
Different Strokes
Bobs Burgers
227
Family Ties
Great British Bake Off
Silver Spoons

I found the shows from the 50s and 60s were too sexist and we paused too many times for teachable moments

A lot of these referenced in this thread have a fair bit of sexual innuendo or violence. I'm with you, op, for not rushing that. Even Young Sheldon, which I like a lot, has unnecessary sexy stuff. It's fairly mild but still has my 12 year old turning away at moments.

My family enjoyed watching together

The Babysitters Club
Mighty Ducks (movies and series)
Julie and the Phantoms
Full House
Fuller House

I probably liked the last two the least of the bunch but watched for the nostalgia.

Despite the main actor problem, I'd love to rewatch The Cosby Show. I'm also curious about The Wonder Years (old and new versions).

I honestly dislike sitcoms but otherwise could have written this myself. Low tolerance for "kids' shows." Although we just started watching Little Lunch on Netflix and it's cute and in small doses. Our kid is 10 so slightly older but recently we've enjoyed:

-Lockwood & Co. (this is possibly too old for your kid unless they don't scare easily)
-Wednesday (same warning)
-Ghosts (UK version - there's some spicy jokes but they go over her head) - also Horrible Histories with the same gang
-Gilmore Girls
-Bake Off
-Great Pottery Throwdown
-Sherlock
-Say Yes to the Dress with Tan France
-Race Across the World
-Malory Towers (also a "kid show" but I find endearing in small doses)
-Dog's Life / pet rescue type things

Some others on our list:
-Call the Midwife
-Umbrella Academy (this one also a bit questionable so will screen it first)
-Anne with an E
-Locke and Key
-Mysterious Benedict Society

Babysitters Club is pretty decent. Especially the first season.
