Exactly, they would not get into Emory today. And what ivy are we talking about? I hope its not Cornell...

Apologize?! Pp? I think you mean justify, and Frankly Emory is more difficult to get into today than any ivy 20 years ago, IE when any parent would have went to said Ivy.

Picking and choosing, must be your forte.

Ivy League grads apologize for their kids going to Emory.

Apologize to whom? This is just a bizarre statement and use of the word “apologize”.

NP. I'm curious if English is not your first language, which is fine! But like, you know, what an apologist is, right? That's the sense they're using the word in.

It's absolutely not a bizarre usage.

Nice try…but an apologist is quite different than someone who apologizes even though they share the same entomology.

So if you are claiming they are defending a controversial choice to attend Emory…which again is a bizarre take…then they are apologists.

However, one apologizes to another for offending or otherwise aggrieving that person.

So, I ask again…to whom is the Ivy League parent apologizing to for sending their kid to Emory…their own child?

Holy moly. I can't tell if you are being purposefully obtuse or you're really just that much of a dumbass.

Op, can you please make me understand why you care? Did you go there? Does your kid go there?

Some people don't think the school is as good as you think it is. What is the point in arguing about it?

For the DCUMers who swear Emory is a Strivers second choice and parchment is lying.

Cornell 2x
Umich
McGill 2x
Hopkins
WashU 2x
Berkeley
USC 2x
BC
NYU
Gatech 2x
CMU
Etc

I mean, I have no opinion on Emory either way, but Reddit is your "source" - and you actually believe random internet posters? Too funny.

None of above is ideal for premed.

Will choose between Emory and WashU. Between these two, purely personal preference.

I would pick Emory over Berkeley, Hopkins, USC, Gatech, CMU for Business and a few others majors as well.

I would pick USC over Emory for business.

Any ranking that doesn't include Ross is trash. Ross is a peer school with Wharton.[/quot

Poets and Quants needs to figure out a way to rank schools that don’t complete the surveys…also, UCB and UT aren’t ranked as well as others for the same reasons.

Actually they’re not. Having just gone through this process, I can assure you that there is a wide range.
