Myself, I stay inside a lot and I'm counting down the days until Fall.
When fall comes around, you will be complaining about rain and leaves, and counting the days until winter.
When winter comes around you will be complaining and counting.....etc. etc.
Learn to enjoy what you have now in the moment.
DP. I LOVE the leaves, and moderate rainfall (not like we've had the past 2 months). I love winter. If I can manage my allergies ok, then I love spring. You generally won't hear me complain the rest of the year.
There is nothing to be enjoyed about DC weather June-mid September. Nothing. The bugs, the humidity, the blazing sun, the heat, the stinky smells everywhere. It's foul.
Imagine if that was to be the weather the rest of your life and you could not have AC anymore. Would you want to keep living? Food for thought. It's not that bad.
One can usually find something they like about the months they don't tolerate well.
At least it's not cold. Warmth = life. Cold = less to no life.
