I work in an engineering firm and no. No open toes at work. Safety issue. And even if it's not your job, I'm not highlighting that I'm a woman and can wear open toes because I'm in management and not in the work floor.

Definitely not. I'm not like a PP who thinks you can't ever show toes at work. If it's a casual office and you're wearing substantial sandals, I think it would be fine. Like espadrilles. But there's not enough difference between this sandal and just having your bare feet.

+1. One of my superiors out of college was so proper and put together BUT she would wear peep-toe shoes practically every day. It ruined her entire look. I never understood why she thought those were okay and I never had the nerve to ask her.
