But OP, did you arrive and get into the place? What’s the update?
OP. It got worse, unfortunately.
The listing said 2 parking spaces. The apartment is in a high rise with reserved parking in a garage. No indication of what our parking spots were.
After finally getting ahold of someone to figure out where to park, they said parking is an additional $30 per day. None of this was indicated in the listing. They said they would send a link so I could pay for parking and they would get a parking FOB to me in the morning.
Now I'm paying $50 a day to park in a different garage down the street, and they never even sent me the payment link to get parking.
Very frustrated with the whole experience. Has anyone gotten a refund or even partial refund from AirBNB? I feel like they should at least cover the cost of my parking.

No you don't.
Yes you do and each room needs a separate person making the reservation. If you were say staying in four hotel rooms, four different people would have to give their information including a credit card. You also have to put the ages of the people staying with you and how many.
New poster. Where do you book with these strange rules? Never had issues booking 2 hotel rooms. And never needed to add names other than mine, except when it was someone else checking in before I arrive.
So when you stay at a beach hotel with friends, you just book their rooms for them and take responsibility for their stuff? I doubt you've ever booked a room and taken responsibility for anyone who was not in your family.

Np no this is not a thing. Where are you staying? You might want to find a new place to book through since thats highly unusual and very strange.

It was nice while it lasted but I am back to hotels and always booking direct and usually only for one night. That way if it wasn't a good choice, I can move along.
And stay away from third party sites - like Booking - they are the plague, full of scammers now.
Anonymous wrote:It matters if this is in the US or another country. They required passports in Italy last summer but it was stated on their listing that they would be asking for this. Employer info is over the top.
