*new post, I finally watched Paradise. Wish I had watched it sooner!

But also, I finished it today and was like.. next episode.. oh yeah, season 2 is announced but not out yet.

I’m like, give me the next episode now. Very good show.

Some to try:

mix of grit/action and funny/quirky:
- The Tourist (Netflix, 2 seasons but I've only watched the first)
- The Old Man (Hulu, 2 seasons, wish there were more)
- Bad Monkey (Apple TV)
- Poker Face (Peacock, new season coming soon)
- Deli Boys (hulu)

If you liked Only Murders in the Building
- The Residence (Netflix)
- Man on the Inside (Netflix)
- Death and Other Details (Hulu)

Funny / Funny + tender
- North of North (netflix)
- Not Dead Yet (Hulu)
- Girls5eva (netflix)
- Old Enough (netflix)

I also recommend Adolescence on Netflix

Hacks is still hilalrious and the new season is out.

Hannah Einbinder has a stand up show, also on Max, that is phenomenal.

Thanks for the rec, just what I was looking for!

I have read all her books and didn't love Nine Perfect Strangers as a book as much but I did enjoy the show.

I don't want to sign up for another service but I remember reading The Last Anniversary so I'll definitely see if I can find it on something I already have at some point.

I've watched Big Little Lies three times.

I did't love The Last Anniversary book so I won't seek out the series. But 9Perfect Strangers season 2 is coming next month.

I couldn’t get all the way through the last season of nine perfect strangers, I just didn’t know my interest. But the season two cast looks.

Annie Murphy (Alexis from Schitt’s Creek), Christine Baranski, and Henry Goulding.

Friends & Neighbors definitely better than you'd expect

I discovered an oldie that I really enjoyed "Why Women Kill." The title put me off before, but I'm so glad I gave it a try. Wonderful cast and thoroughly entertaining. Lucy Liu was just fantastic in it. Season 2 unfortunately seems like a dud comparatively.

Anyone watching something good, whether old or new?

I've watched several episodes of Why Women Kill season 1 today and, ugh, it's boring. It isn't very funny and I swear this was written by a group of geriatric men.

I found it a little boring until around the halfway point, after which I loved it.
