She’s fine. My baby fell off the bed. And she was laughing and totally normal. If she’s not acting normal or throws up, you should call your doctor. Just monitor her for the next day or so.

My 4 months old got catapulted out of his carseat stroller - he was unbuckled as i was opening the apartment door and I hung the heavy diaper bag on the handle to grab the keys - and off he went! Totally fine, he actually laughed and I think i might have cried.

I was getting ready for a dinner party. Kid had just started crawling. Wife was in the shower. I turned for a second to check the stove and the kid crawled 15 feet in a nanosecond and rolled down the stairs (about 7 steps to a landing). She was fine, but we had a panicked call to our pediatrician who assured us of their resilience. We had to watch for a few signs which didn't happen and within two minutes she was happy as could be. She's 9 now and I still cringe.

One of my kids’ ped told us that one of the signs of trouble after a fall is failure to be woken up. So for the next 20 years, we have always made sure to wake up the kids (if they had fallen and hit their heads) for a quick trip to the bathroom.

Thank goodness they woke up every time although begrudgingly. DS did suffer a concussion at college. He made sure his roommate woke him up in the middle of the night just to be sure.

My son got a head injury at the park and cracked his skull. Aside from crying for 60 seconds, he acted totally fine so no one thought anything about it until we did a CT due to severe bruising several days later. Point is - you never know. Most falls don’t result in anything but some do, and some are severe even from just a small fall. There will be signs though, even if no concussion. Google them and keep an eye on her.

My baby rolled off the couch when he was 2 weeks old. Was literally in the fold of couch and I walked away and he’d spun all the way off onto the hardwood floor. I still don’t know how it was possible because he was swaddled. I was very upset and DH was relieved because it happened on my watch. We didn’t take him to the doctor and he was fine. 20+ years later we still joke about it.
