Nope. I will wear whatever I want to wear. I’m a grownup.

Even “don’t wear white” is too much. if I have a go to off-white sheath dress that I wear to most summer occasions, let me. If other guests think I’m trying to to upstage the bride, let them judge me. You just be happy I came.

mmmm, no. don't wear white to a wedding has been a thing for 50 yrs. everything else, knock yourself out.

When was it no black? I got married in 1996, black tie formal evening wedding, and about 60% of the guests were wearing black. No white, sure. Except for my c**t SIl who wore a dress that looked remarkably like my wedding dress.

It’s very stupid but I would obey assuming I could easily do so.

Don’t be that bride! Seriously, do not do this.

So incredibly tacky, selfish, and rude. I wish this trend of planning your event for instagram likes instead of for your guests' enjoyment would end.

They seem to care more about photos than about the concept of marriage.

But I mean how often do you look at your wedding photos and, when you do, what is the thing you focus on.

Like, sure we have this one nice photo from my wedding that's framed and referenced often but specifically because my FIL died unexpectedly the next year and it's one of the last really nice photos of him dancing with his kids.

I haven't finished the album 30 years on. We have one wedding photo hanging on the wall.

I thought I was the only one! (Except I don't even have a photo on the wall)

We had our formal photos taken before the ceremony because I wanted to spend time with guests.

Don't give me a job in order to come to your wedding.

Well, the olds are the ones with the money, and I’m not spending it on people who make frivolous demands like this.

Me three! I never even ordered photos from the proofs. I doubt the photographer is even in business 29 years later. Wish I had that money back. Meanwhile, my husband and I are still married despite one of our guests turning up in a chambray Bugs Bunny shirt. Try working that into your color palette!
