From reading Reddit, everywhere.

DOGE competitive areas or actual? Because at USAID we had a list of competitive areas in our internal regulations and DOGE made up new ones.

Well, they're new and dated Friday 4/11.

PS for my bureau they all say "nationwide." I don't know if that means they plan to fire us all, as I'm sure they won't pay to relocate.

IRS is happening in chunks by pay period. I doubt they will follow the rules.

Yeah if you RIF in dribs and drabs there’s no way to really rank etc?

I could imagine doing it by pay period if you're really doing the bump and retreat thing. It would give the first set of people a few days to decide whether or not to accept the offered bump/retreat job before making the next set of rifs and bump/retreat offers.

I'm not saying that's what they'll do, but someone on reddit posted a memo from IRS that described the typical process. So it's seeming like that's the directly they're headed.

And to follow what is described in the training on it would take a very long time.
