why would this be a joke post? I don't feel like there's an "obvious" answer. Wisconsin overall is a better university, but I would give VT's engineering program the edge. Especially given the cost differential. Most would prefer Madison compared to Blacksburg, but is it $100K better? I guess that is something OP would have to think about.
