Esp if you have wide feet

Beware Allbirds, if you need to return they will give you a hard time. The asterisk on their return policy webpage is doing a LOT of work (as in totally counteracting their advertised easy returns).

Really? I’ve never had any trouble returning them to a store.

Our podiatrist recommended Asics Gel Kayano. Our whole family wears them now, including one of our teens who is a long distance runner.

I have wide feet -not OP - and want to like these but they all seem so ugly to me.

Which brands for wide feet are acceptable to you?
[/b]

Hoka Bondi. They're not beautiful, but I no longer have plantar fasciitis since I have been wearing these sneakers.

These are not ugly to you? ok.

If you were in constant pain as I was (for EIGHT MONTHS), you would probably wear anything that gave you relief as well.

Also, whatever you get, get new ones every 3-4 months if you wear them everyday. They are made for only so many miles before you should replace. When my feet start hurting, I know I should have gotten new shoes a couple of weeks earlier....

Also, Bombas socks. Expensive but wear forever. Arch support built in.

Oh whoops… You don’t like Danskos! I do, but everybody has different feet.

Omg, Danskos! Do manynurses still wear these? We all wore them when I worked as a nurse 15-20 yrs ago. I rolled my ankles in them ALL the time. It’s a miracle I never broke anything.

I can agree. I am a teacher who’s on my feet all day, and I either wear sneakers or Danskos. I am so glad things are more casual and nobody cares about us wearing sneakers anymore!
