First, I would not consider Coach “high end.” It isn’t cheap, but it isn’t high end. It’s a super MC brand like MK or Kate Spade.
Second, yes—the Coach outlet has mainly, if not exclusively, slightly lower quality stuff made for the outlet.
They have a Kate Spade
Kate Spade also makes lower quality stuff for outlets. Any brand with lots of outlets is not high class. When you see Kate spade bags being carried at Walmart, it is not high class. No one on Canal Street is selling fake Kate Spade because the real KS stuff is already cheap.

My kids like the store Journeys, but the stuff wasn’t really discounted - same price for converse as Montgomery Mall. Same with the Crocs and Ugg stores - so what’s the point of driving out there?
