You must be new there. The previous principal was criticized for being way up in all the teachers’ business and playing favorites. She ran a very tight ship. In the end her style really worked for my kid, but there was lots of complaining.

Given the new zone for the school, just leave five minutes earlier.

I cannot believe 5 minutes is worth getting this worked up over.

“School Hours: 8:50 AM – 3:50 PM”

Oh how interesting . . . someone changed it tonight. Two hours ago, it said 9:00 a.m. as start time, and even my son's teacher told me it has been 9:00 a.m. for many years, and she has been there for at least a decade.

It has been 8:50am forever...

I've seen instances where parents roll up after 9am, drop their kids off and yell at the staff from their cars and don't bother trying to come in. It's really rude and disrespectful to the staff.

It is. My issue with him is trying funding and accreditation to attendance while giving us no real tools to enforce attendance at the same time.
