Thats fair. Percy does have a little bit of a YOLO attitude in the books that the actor hasn't shown yet. Hopefully it comes out in the next few episodes.
We may also be remembering that from the later books, as he became more confident as a demigod.
Gosh I hope there is another season

'Monarch: Legacy of Monsters'? I haven't heard of it before but just googled it. I'm intrigued.
