There is no reason to use Miralax when there are safer choices out there. Please read this article, the FDA has been dragging their feet, but are still trying to work with CHOP (Children’s Hospital of Philly) to do a study on Miralax and adverse events.

Mira lax is not fiber. It is polyethylene glycol. Take fiber if you need fiber, not chemical laxatives.
