Unemployment rate would be delayed, would 't it, for folks who get laid off with severance?
My DH has been unemployed since mid August but we received 14 weeks severance which runs out this month. So he has not filed for unemployment yet.
Would I be correct to guess that the October layoff bonanza won't hit the unemployment rate till a couple months afterwards?
