But if your spouse was at a work event for you and was rude and looked bored, wouldn’t you be upset that he couldn’t pull it together? I’m the worlds biggest introvert and homebody, I totally sympathize if someone would rather be home on their couch in comfy clothes, but if it were important to my spouse to show up and act enthusiastic for a little while I think I would do it or at least try harder than that.

Anyway, I do agree that JLo has iron control and discipline, I admire her. I also sympathize with Ben Affleck because I too would get fidgety and bored at these events. Who knows what’s on his mind. Maybe something is going on at home? With his family? With something else. The camera caught a brief interaction, and it’s really silly to sit here and try to analyze it.

I was thinking the same. So what if he’s bored? He’s been to a million of these things. It’s hard to always be “on.” I think all of us would be tired of always being fake for the camera too.

Because he's so childish, he needs a maternal figure to keep him on the straight and narrow. But Jlo is far more critical than JG imo, think he'll end up resenting her even more. Then he acts out and indulges his vices until they can't take it anymore and finally dump him. Rinse, repeat.

I agree and in that way, they match. I also agree with the other posters they will only be happy if he is controlled by her. She seems super type A and he is...not. He moaned about Garner but I think she seemed actually more relaxed in many ways. Will be interesting to see how it all pans out
