Liberty: Langley
They are the most talented team in the district by have the return of a four year starter on defense, the best fogo by far, the best offensive player in the district and a three year starter in goal with a top recruit 2028 goalie coming in too.
Concord: Madison
The warhawks are going to wipe the floor in the concord as usual with no real competition. They will have a senior veteran leading the defense as well as a top dmid as well. They are going to have to fill in holes on offense and goalie though.
Patriot: Robinson
With state championship momentum rolling into next season, the rams will cruise to another district title. Led by a top fogo and a strong defense with two of the top 2026 defensemen, the rams are going to be a hard team to stop next year.

Langley homer. Langley will struggle next year. They are losing at least 75% of their goal scoring from last year (0, 2, 3 annd 40). And #3 on McLean is the best returning offensive player in Libertyby far.

Madison’s goalie was a junior last year so he should be back.

I think that #8 on Langley and #37 on Yorktown are right there with #3 on McLean in terms of offensive talent

I think you haven’t watched any of them play if you honestly believe that

In the Liberty, I think the favorite should be Langley as it was this year although they were tripped up by Yorktown in the district final again. McLean is losing a lot. I'm not sure how they replace it all depth wise. Yorktown is a real wildcard from the outside. I believe they had a lot of seniors, but this could be an addition by subtraction scenario.

So we’re already debating 2025?
Agree that only a Langley Homer would pencil in Langley as Liberty champs.
They have some great players returning but lack depth big time at most or all positions. (They do have a solid goalie, so if a good goalie is coming in, they’ve got at least one position covered).
The same could be said about Yorktown and McLean. Some great players but a lot of holes. Typical public school lacrosse.
Liberty is wide open, and the winner will be whichever of the three develops players to run with their 5-6 strong returnees.
Madison and Robinson look like reasonable picks in their districts. Hard to see anyone knocking off either one.

Liberty will be either Yorktown or McLean…

Langley is only good at golf and tennis.

Correction: The loop hole is that they can schedule nine games then play in up to two tournaments, not to exceed 14 games.

Robinson along with all other Fairfax County schools have mush less control over their schedules. Arlington, Loudoun, Prince William, and Alexandria can schedule 14 games. Fairfax County schools can only schedule 11. The loop hole is that they can schedule games then play in up to two tournaments, not to exceed 14 games. Robinson's non-district games included Madison, McLean, Yorktown, Langley, and Cosby. With seven district games and nine games scheduled for Robinson, they could only play teams who were either in the McLean/Robinson spring break tournament or the South County tournament. Robinson had a long running series against Landon and has played Prep. I think they still would if they could. Robinson would beat Riverside.

I'm guessing that Riverside was just a lot better than Kellam in all aspects of the game.

Your argument is a Scrimmage hahahahahaha?? Scrimmages are practices. Teams dont game plan. Teams play everyone. A scrimmage means absolutely nothing.

Are you rolling your eyes because you think that statement is wrong? Do you know anything about high school sports? or even Pro Sports? Thats like saying, "oh the Commanders won all of their preseason games! they are the best team in the league!"

hahaha grow up.

I guess if scrimmages count, off season winter league must too? Didn’t Robinson lose to Independence? LOL
