At this point, this should be left to Oakton parents and school officials. If there is enough of a problem, let the people around the program complain and let the school deal with it. They got their hands full with the cheerleading situation and we will see how they handle this one. It’s really not for anyone to handle on anonymous message boards. If you are an Oakton parent/player and have an issue, talk to school officials or go to FCPS and report it. I am not convinced it’s more than a couple people with axes to grind. It sounds like the coach made a mistake and admitted it. If it goes beyond that, report it. Don’t come here and post about it. Let these girls finish out their season and deal with the repercussions going forward for the staff.
