Look at every other website and then look at BSC. Others give the dates. BSC gives the birth year. While the original poster did jump the gun with the information, this does give a clear indication of their trajectory if they posted this information. I would be shocked if change to 9/1 to 8/31 at this point.
We have not heard anything from BSC and we are with the club. I actually like it because it is so early to have these discussions. The Q4’s on our team (Aug-Dec) have heard nothing either but that is BSC operating as normal. Plan accordingly and don’t expect special exceptions no matter how good your kid is.

Parents will need to understand the priority of development here and get used to not winning as much.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Does anyone know what BSC is doing with the Boys age groups for next year?
Yes. MLS Next 1 will be birth year. MLS Next 2 will be seasonal year. Everything below will be seasonal year. Just like everyone else.
I haven't seen anything posted publicly....
It absolutely has been posted publicly, you got dis research
It's public now, BSC is staying calendar birth year on the Boys side. They published U7-U11 are going to be calendar year, not school year. Everyone saying otherwise was simply wrong. If they're doing it at the youngest age groups the older ones will surely be the same. I agree with the decision, keep it consistent with MLSNext and non MLSNext HD teams will have the added advantage of getting to play against older kids. There's no reason to have kids jumping from team to team within the club based on their birthday, league, rosters on top teams stick together, etc.

These age groups for next year, 2026-27, will be calendar year:
U7 (2020)
U8 (2019)
U9 (2018)
U10 (2017)
U11 (2016)

yeah, seriously. If you're going to post a cryptic note like that, at least back it up. I know some people are on here to vent and complain but we also want actual information about the club.

"I, as a coach, in my mind, that has the ability and authority to rip you to pieces in whatever situation..."

This was after multiple clips of him yelling at the player.

Look at the current coaching slate for both clubs. It's pretty easy to figure out.
There are 37 teams on the girls side. But, I assume you're talking about SC.
