Crazy to hire someone who is not qualified or allowed to be coaching the team he was hired to coach.

As others posted he lacked the creds. His time at NVA was filled balancing a new family while trying to get the creds. Resulted in PL/RP babysitting a stressed out DB. I can be empathetic to a lack of sleep and pressure to perform. With that said FVU parents should have done their due diligence. Red flags as soon as CW was on the sidelines. I bet that is why they never traveled for showcases. CW cant clone himself and split coaching on the pitch.

So no showcase for you (thats a seinfield joke if you 40+).

Those parents are pissed now lol. Thats a whole season wasted.

They aren’t pissed. They will be back next year.

Younger age group seems to be doing ok.

The self convincing to stay at FVU has begun. I love it.

It will be better next year. It will be better next year. It will be better next year.

Just depends on the age group. The 2011's have been rough for a while and this year's parents are just extra vocal. Younger families seem happy enough and the teams are getting stronger.

Yes very vocal. Fun to watch the excuses and threats and hear about strongly worded emails.
hey our emails are razooooor sharp. The sharpest emails. CW shaves his head with them. Thats how sharp they are.

Are those emails what got DB fired again for the 2nd time in 2 years
no the parents have no juice. A magical Board decided to part ways. Where was this board all year?! They clearly didn’t get the strongly worded letters. DB let his punctual problems and aggressive coaching styles allow him to be the overall scapegoat for the 2011s. Trust CW
and then imaginary front office are equally to blame for that teams lack of exposure to games. As they are for the older team’s regressions and exodus. But the parents will stay because reasons/and or fears DDs lack the talent to move on.

Trust us it will be different next year.

I thought he left for a “better” opportunity?
he supposedly will be working w the younger crowd. No pressure for getting a license and less rabid parents. CW is lucky he was smart enough to sit out in the sidelines of those games. The parents don’t have a legal gripe as DB wasn’t really the coach. He was babysat. Regardless i think he will be happy in the future

All travel level coaches should have licenses. What license does he have?
he lacks the license for meeting the ecnl requirement. Search around the interwebs. Regardless they had CW on the sidelines. Question now is who will be the new coach in this carousel. GW coach is still the GW coach. And in the older chat 2010 it sounds like they are waiting for a CW id session bait n switch.

$$$ is that it really doesn’t matter to those parents as most are badge chasing.

Tick tick tick

Seems that’s the running theme with this coach…he requires a designated babysitter.

Hope everyone had a good holiday break. Just 2 GA games this weekend. Looks like we will be getting some rain tomorrow so games will be a bit rough.

GA

Alexandria 0 McLean 2

Good luck to all!
