It’s not acceptable to Human Rights Watch:
“New Human Rights Watch research found that Ukrainian cluster munition rocket attacks on Russian-controlled areas in and around the city of Izium in eastern Ukraine during 2022 caused many casualties among Ukrainian civilians. Both countries should stop using these inherently indiscriminate weapons, and no country should supply cluster munitions because of their foreseeable danger to civilians.
“Cluster munitions used by Russia and Ukraine are killing civilians now and will continue to do so for many years,” said Mary Wareham, acting arms director at Human Rights Watch. “Both sides should immediately stop using them and not try to get more of these indiscriminate weapons.”
Can you remember when Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International were legitimate organizations?
Yes, it's a long time ago.
Ukraine wil use cluster munitions to help clear Russian occupied trenches in Ukrainian territory. Unlike the Russians, who were using them on civilians in Kherson and elsewhere
The false equivalency is ridiculous

It's just ridiculous we're at the cluster bomb stage when we could have bypassed all that by giving them air supremacy in the first place.
Ukrainians are forced to thank NATO and friendly countries for all their (very significant) help, but no one gave them fighter jets last year.
It's just mind-boggling the misplaced priorities here that end up costing lives and money.

No big deal.
It’s not like Ukraine is kidnapping children en masse or copping off prisoners of war heads.
That is all ISIS and Russians.
I personally would prefer napalm. E dropped on the trenches but Ukraine does not have the aircraft for that (yet).
Napalm is way more terrifying, and one of the worst ways known to die.
Then you should not prefer napalm. You should push for NATO to offer air supremacy to Ukraine - modern military advantages that will shorten the war and save lives.
Go away, all you horrible torturers with your banned weaponry. By the way, Europe wanted to send jets to Ukraine months ago, and is against cluster munitions. The only moron here is the US, who stalled the jet fighter process and now wants to send inhumane weapons to the front line to "make-up" for it.
Just because Russia started this stupid war, and has committed atrocities, it should not mean we have to stoop to their level when we have other means at our disposal.
This is so frustrating and irritating.

Why don’t you send your Saab gripens and dassault rafale or eurofoghter typhoons then?
No one is stopping european countries in giving Ukraine airframes
Gripens would have been great for Ukraine. The problem is there aren’t enough of them. And creating a supply chain to keep them flying in a war setting would have been impossible.
There are more than 4500 F-16s around the world. Much easier to find the aircraft and keep them flying. Hopefully they’ll be in service by the end of the year
Regarding objections to cluster munitions, what exactly would you have Ukrainians do? They are clearing each Russian trench and getting wrecked. It’s brutal fighting. It’s exactly what cluster munitions were designed for. They won’t be used on Russian villages. Just Russian invaders. See no problem here

It’s not ideal for it to end
Biden is managing this perfectly
Keep it simmering for years on end as long as Zelenskyy is willing to expend gentile Ukrainians to grind Russia down
