No. My kids are private school lifers - and some of most expensive non-Catholic ones at that. I just can’t imagine shelling out any amount of tuition for HS and then sending my kid to a non-competitive, academically inferior college that will not help them succeed professionally. Lacrosse is a means to an end - not an end in and of itself. There is no return on that for your kid long-term.

High enough gpa and the sat is rendered way less meaningful. AI not that hard to make for a decent student.
