Younger age group seems to be doing ok.
The self convincing to stay at FVU has begun. I love it.
It will be better next year. It will be better next year. It will be better next year.

But does the badge really hold that same value it did 3 years ago? Makes sense for older girls, but 2011 and below have options now.
Exactly. The ECNL badge isn’t the only badge that gets you invites to ID sessions and allows you to play at showcases in front of college coaches
You can tell me ECNL is better all day long but if you are staying just for the badge you deserve what you are getting
You "chasing the badge" people need to learn what you are talking about. The girls want to play on the best team possible and against the best competition possible. Crickets from the “ECNL hats” people, “chasing the badge” people, “GA coming for ECNL” people. Not surprising.
Nobody cares about rankings. Is your DD developing or not? Are they helping her get ready for recruiting? Nobody will remember these rankings otherwise.

Players & parents are definitely much happier with this turn of events.
And just know we promise he will be the coach in the fall. He can easily manage the college team and 2 ECNL teams. Plus if there is a conflict he will choose FVU.
Anonymous wrote:I asked this earlier, but I think I get lost in the chatter. How realistic is it for someone to coach a college team and club? I recognize it is somewhat of the off-season for him this spring but if he were to continue to be the coach in the fall, is that really feasible?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Hey we got a college coach for the rest of the year.
